Why We Exist
Africa is home to the world’s youngest population—and some of its most urgent challenges. Yet, millions of youth lack access to digital skills, and innovation pathways. UNICEF estimates that 75% of youth are not on track to acquire the skills they need for future work. The World Economic Forum notes that by 2030, over 1 billion jobs will be transformed by technology, requiring critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital fluency. The National Skills Coalition finds that 1 in 3 workers still lack basic digital skills—even as 92% of jobs demand them
-
Innovation hubs are rare.
-
R&D is underfunded.
-
Investment in deep tech is scarce.
-
Grassroots talent is overlooked.
These are not just technical gaps—they’re human ones. But we see opportunity: to build a youth-powered innovation model that begins locally, scales ethically, and creates real-world impact from the ground up.
We're crafting a future where everyone is a community asset—a future where each young person brings food to the table, provides roofs over our heads, and energizes us with sustainable power!
